My number one priority is ensuring my clients are comfortable, especially for a boudoir session. These sessions are intimate and you may only want these for yourself (or a partner) and that is completely ok. If there are any photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with!
That’s completely normal! I guide you through every single pose, down to your fingertips. You don’t need to know anything in advance—I’ve got you.
Of course! Boudoir isn’t just a gift for someone else—it’s a gift to yourself. You deserve to feel beautiful and confident, no matter your relationship status.
I don’t have a client closet to offer lingerie, and there many factors to consider: Style, trends, sizes, hygiene. My recommendations are to use what you already own and love. You are most welcome to treat yourself for something new and I list places to check out in comprehensive Style and Prep Guide. For your session, I want you arriving with pieces you love already, reflect your personality and know that they fit amazingly.
Not at all! These sessions are for you to feel amazing in anything you choose to wear. Is it the colour you love, or the texture. Being comfortable goes a long way for your confidence. Check out this lingerie guide for ideas.
YES! Hair and make up is included in all boudoir sessions. This includes professional hair and make up with eyelashes by an experienced artist. I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered and having a hair and make up done is a great way to do that. The best thing is, it’s all done at the studio, you’ll arrive in the morning and get pampered before your session. No need to worry about traffic or wet weather ruining your look on your way to the shoot.
Let’s address one of the elephants in the room – retouching and *photoshopping* photographs. Firstly, you are beautiful exactly how you are! Your final images will have a light and minimal skin smoothing and non-permanent blemish and bruise removal. Permanent features for removal like tattoos, scars and moles, can be discussed. However, excessive skin smoothing (porcelain doll-like) and body altering will not happen. You are real, you are beautiful, you are strong.
The studio is located in Mackay, QLD Australia. Before your session you’ll receive a detailed style and preparation guide to help you get ready, directions to studio, how to get in contact directly and answer any questions you may have.
Yes I offer a Pre-Session Payment Plan (PSPP)
The PSPP includes your booking fee to reserve your session and a minimum amount to be paid three (3) weeks prior to your session. The fee reserves your date and allows me to book the hair and make up artist for your session. It also covers the consultation, photo shoot and studio time. I only photograph one client a day so keeping your date is very important. The booking fee does not include any images or products. After the shoot we’ll break for an hour, then you’ll return to the studio for your gorgeous reveal of images. This is when you’ll choose your favourites photos.
The PSPP can be set up weekly, fortnightly or monthly to suit your budget. Whatever suits you best.
All orders and payments are finalised during your ordering appointment.
I hear this all the time, and every single woman who takes the leap is so glad she did. You deserve this experience. You deserve to feel incredible in your skin. If you have any hesitations, reach out—I’d love to chat!
Love that question the most! To book me for your boudoir session, schedule a phone consultation – don’t want to call, that’s fine! Start here and let me know what month you are looking to have your session, remembering to allow 6-8 weeks for your artwork to be ordered. Your session date is confirmed with a non-refundable deposit and signed agreement – all online, easy peasy. Then the fun begins – preparing for your session!! Email Alyce@alyceholzy.com anytime.
