What Happens at a Boudoir Photoshoot from Start to Finish
Your session day typically begins at 9am in my private Mackay boudoir studio. We kick things off with professional hair and makeup, giving you time to relax and settle into the experience. By around 10:30am, we start shooting and the fun really begins.
Most women bring up to 3 outfits – anything from a slip dress or robe to a bodysuit or matching set. Not sure where to shop? I always recommend Bras N Things Mackay for gorgeous, flattering fits.
Posing, Music, and Total Support
If you’re worried about posing, don’t be. I demonstrate everything, from head tilts to hip angles and guide you through subtle movements that flatter your body and highlight your style. There’s music, laughter, and absolutely no pressure. We move at your pace, always.

What Happens After the Photoshoot?
After the shoot, we take a short break for lunch. Then comes the moment you’ve been waiting for – your same-day photo reveal. Together, we sit and view all your colour-corrected images on a big screen. Using a yes/maybe system, we select your favourites and design your final artwork.
You’ll choose from albums, framed prints, folio boxes or keepsake glass boxes – each with matching digitals.
